KiCad setup

Install the KiCad 10 plugin through Plugin and Content Manager (PCM).

Download plugin

  1. Download the plugin

    Save the Overprint plugin ZIP. Keep it zipped.

  2. Install with PCM

    In KiCad’s project manager, open Plugin and Content Manager → Install from File… and choose the ZIP. Restart the PCB Editor after saving your work.

  3. Export your board

    Open your PCB in KiCad 10. Choose Tools → External Plugins → Export to Overprint, then save the .overprint-board file.

  4. Bring it into Overprint

    Open Import PCB in the editor and choose your export, or drag it into the editor.
